I’m Voting for Matt Kilroy, Byung Cho & Raymur Flinn
Election season is once again upon us for Redondo Beach, and many residents have called or emailed to ask for my endorsements or opinions.
Redondo Beach City Clerk – Eleanor Manzano is running unopposed.
Redondo Beach City Treasurer – Matt Kilroy – https://mattkilroy.com
I’ve gotten to know Matt a bit in the past 8 years since he left office as a City Councilmember for District 5. He’s sharp, direct and doesn’t play politics. Much like his time on the field as an AYSO referee, where he focuses on ensuring the integrity of the game is followed and played in a fair manner… he took that same approach as an elected official. He intimately understands how our city finances work and the importance of ensuring our General Fund portfolio is protected by adhering to the three foundational standards of safety, liquidity, and yield. I trust Matt to continue performing at the exceptional levels current Treasurer Diels has and wholeheartedly endorse his candidacy.
Redondo Beach School Board – Byung Cho & Raymur Flinn – https://www.rb4rb.com
There are 2 open seats this year and three candidates. Raymur Flinn is the only incumbent and has done a great job during the past four years, especially considering how difficult they were with the pandemic creating issues that no elected official was initially prepared to manage. The second candidate, hails from our District 3. Byung Cho has been an incredibly active parent and volunteer over the years and wants to better serve the district and community. Both individuals will serve the district well and I highly recommend you cast your vote for them.
