1. Christian created a traffic safety educational awareness program, Streets For All, in partnership with Beach Cities Health District, the RBUSD and RBPD to help make our streets safer.
2. Enacted an assessment of the RBPD and more recently the RBFD to address deficiencies and foster long-lasting improvements .
3. Hired a new Police Chief, command staff and restored staff levels to full complement.
4. Created the Secure Your Castle program with RING in conjunction with the City Attorney’s office.

2. Included a $200K Specific Plan Overlay to the current General Plan process for Artesia and Aviation. This is a blueprint for Artesia’s economic growth and stability.
3. Created Artesia/Aviation Storefront Facade Incentive program and funded over $200K for multiple efforts.
4. Worked on AES Subcommittee to develop long-term solutions that would allow the city to potentially purchase all or part of the AES site in partnership with LA County.
5. Advocated for community enhancements and integration as a part of any potential South Bay Galleria revitalization project. Approved $900MM upgrades including $7.5MM in Quimby “Park” fees, $2MM towards Artesia Blvd ($1MM specific for art as a result of our Public Art Ordinance), and additional Public Art Ordinance allocations.
6. Budgeted and approved beautification upgrades for two sections of the Artesia SCE Right of Way with the intent to continue in coming years for the remainder.
7. Approved the $11MM Transit Center on Kingsdale Ave. Completion scheduled for Summer 2022.
