Christian worked with the RB City Attorney and the RBPD to establish a loading zone on Meyer Lane and new law limiting deliveries to the business on Meyer Lane to weekdays from 7-4. He is the only person who was willing and able to accomplish this in the 20 years I’ve lived here. Thank you!
I met Christian during his first campaign four years ago. He was canvassing neighborhoods such as mine, introducing himself and his agenda were he to be elected. He spent time with me, not just once, but twice at my request. Each visit was at my residence in order to further address some of my questions. For me, that was unheard of and went far in securing our vote. Over the past four years I have had matters within my neighborhood that required attention. Each time, Christian responded almost immediately and resolved the needs of my neighborhood. I have also appreciated the frequent neighborhood meetings that he has hosted at various locations and I have attended a number of them. One could not ask for nor find a better councilman for District 3. Please consider supporting Christian in his bid for re-election. He has already proven that he is the best person for our district.
When I reached out to Christian with a concern about the lack of available student parking near the high school, he stepped up and contacted several city and school personnel, gathered information, searched for alternatives to street parking, and coordinated a meeting for me with the director of Public Works. He went above and beyond my expectations of what an elected representative would do for a constituent. I believe that Christian puts public need ahead of his personal gain.
As a Public Works professional, I too support Christian. The City’s infrastructure has not had a better steward than him. Our streets are some of the best in the entire south bay, SCE has never been so responsive (because of Christian) in upgrading their infrastructure, and the same goes for other Public Works type services. Christian puts the our concerns first, Police, Fire and Public Works….
I’ve worked with Councilmember Horvath for almost four years through the South Bay Cities Council of Governments. He is a collaborative problem solver. Whether working with the County to solve transportation issues or tackling new and difficult issues such as short term rentals and legalized recreational marijuana, Christian brings a inquisitve and open mind with no hidden agenda. He adds value to every discussion. He has earned the respect of South Bay electeds.
Even if he doesn’t have an immediate answer he will seek answers for you as best he can and follows up too! Like he isn’t a super busy guy….. Christian Horvath you rock!
My experience with Christian has been great as well. He helped to get our park updated and ADA compliant. We have also had other concerns that he immediately addressed. The issue with the waterfront has been going on for years before Christian came on board and he has been very open and welcomes conversations with anyone who has concerns.
As a resident for over 33 years in District 3, I strongly endorse Christian Horvath’s re-election to City Council. He is the ONLY candidate who is well rounded and well versed in all the issues facing our wonderful city.
I’ve lived in North Redondo since 1963, so there have been many councilmen in said district. Fortunately, I had few issues to complain about. With the recent 190th Gas Co. project, Christian has returned my calls to update me on the progress as the traffic in front of my home is excessive. He has also sent me monthly news that concerns our district and the power plant sale and other pertinent information. He has gone out of way to help me and on one occasion came to my home to assist me with the lighting problem that I was having with South Bay Hospital Parking Lot. I feel confident that in the future he will be willing and available to help anyone in his district. All you have to do is ask.
I will vote to re-elect Christian because he is the best man for the job.
A couple of weeks ago I posted about the swings being broken at Sneary Parkette. To my surprise our councilman got right back to me. Very next visit – they’re fixed. Christian Horvath is more responsive than any elected official I’ve ever come across. He delivers for this community. Horvath has my vote.
I support Christian and his Re-Election campaign. I have become much more involved in local leadership because of his contributions to our community.
I support Christian!
Over the years, I have watched Christian mature as a leader through his tireless work in Redondo’s municipal government, civic life, and business community. He has performed diligently and always with impeccable ethical standards. Christian’s record of service to our community is unparalleled and has equipped him with the tools, experience, and knowledge necessary to collaborate and partner with diverse stakeholders to enhance the quality of life of our beautiful city.
Christian was instrumental in assisting me to get a parking space in front of my home. There was no parking in front of my home for over 30 years. He contacted other officials of the city and they analyzed the request and provided a solution that was beneficial to all the residents.
Christian values resident’s input from all perspectives. His vision and moderate approach to issues is pragmatic, cerebral and well reasoned. I trust Christian to make common sense decisions that benefit all Redondo Beach constituents as our city continues to evolve into a thriving beach community that my family and visitors can enjoy.
Christian brings workable creativity to every activity he undertakes. He looks at the big picture, then he proposes options that will make the situation better. Because of the breadth and depth of his community connections, he brings a sense of reality to discussions. His experience in the business community, the creative community, the educational community, and the music community brings a complete range of knowledge and sensitivity to issues and the people who care about Redondo Beach.
I can’t say enough about Christian… he has a very giving heart, so when he reaches out and talks with people, it’s because he truly cares and wants to know. He works tirelessly to ensure the many organizations he volunteers with are successful because they are important to our residents. Christian is dedicated to our community because he truly cares about making it one of the greatest cities to live in for his family and mine. That’s why I believe he is the right representative for district 3.
Christian’s vast personal and public experiences, combined with his dedicated commitment to Redondo Beach, make him the perfect choice for our City Council. I have been impressed with his refreshing honesty and creative thinking. His sense of family, relationship, and community is paramount to his vision of what Redondo Beach is and can be. I urge you to vote for Christian and the promising future of Redondo Beach.
