As a community activist myself, I appreciate the many men and women I see helping make our beautiful Redondo Beach the best place on earth to live.  One of those amazing people who continue to give so much of there time and care is Christian Horvath.  I saw how he selflessly gives his time, supporting causes, volunteering in so many fantastic programs. Before he was councilman, and as leader in a Redondo Beach leadership program, he helped secure bike racks that we enjoy throughout our community. Christian was and is always there to lend a hand in so many great causes, including some I have been a part of such as the Special Olympic World Games, Mayors cup charity golf tournament and Art projects throughout our community.  As Councilman, I saw how he takes the time and care for every decision in this volunteer councilman position and take comfort knowing the Christian always does what is best for his council district and for Redondo Beach. He is independent in his deliberation and beholden only to the the residents in his district and Redondo Beach. Christian Horvath is exactly the councilman we all need ensuring Redondo Beach continues to be the best place to live.
