The League of Women Voters of the Beach Cities will be moderating a candidates forum on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 for the upcoming Redondo Beach Municipal Election.  We, along with the co-sponsors, The North Redondo Beach Business Association and the Redondo Beach  Chamber of Commerce  are pleased to invite you, along with all of the other candidates, to participate in this event to be held:

AGENDA

6:00 PM   Welcome

6:10 PM   District 3 Candidates Forum

6:55 PM   District 5 Candidates Forum

7:40 PM   Treasurer Candidates Forum

8:20 PM   Closing

Please Note:

a. The League moderator will open the forum, explain the format, and introduce the candidates.

b. Each candidate will have 2 minutes to make an opening statement.

c. Questions from the audience written on cards will be read to the candidates by the moderator.

d. Each candidate will have 1.5 minutes to respond to each question.

e. Each candidate will have 2 minutes for a closing statement.

In order to preserve an impartial atmosphere during the forum, distribution of campaign literature, signs, balloons, buttons, T-shirts, and other election material will not be permitted in the meeting room.
